while i shared bits from my summer travels, i finished a project that had been on the back burner for a long time. something fancier than usual this time– a shantung clutch with an original flower vine design embroidered with a combination of silk ribbon, cotton embroidery floss and pearl beads. i added a wide satin ribbon wrist strap on the side to be both decorative and useful. really very pleased with the sleek, elegant look.
i originally imagined it for semi-formal or formal occasions, but realized it can look great with dark jeans too. styled with a set of heels and a chic black sweater, it would be a classy outfit for a day out on the town.

今回はいつもよりお洒落をしたい場面で使いたいようなシャンタンのクラッチバッグ。シルクリボン・コットン刺繍糸・パールビーズを組み合わせて立体感のあるデザインにしました。ワイドなリストストラップはアクセントであり、実用的でもあり。上品な一品となりました。
オケージョン用とイメージしていたけれど、今になるとこのように濃い色のジーンズとも相性◎。これにキリッとしたヒールシューズ、上にはシックな黒いセーターを合わせたら、街へのお出かけコーデにいいかもしれませんね！
