Sketch To Stitch I

autumn zephyrlily

one of a few embroideries that i’ve finished recently.  autumn zephyrlily, a new design made up into a zipper pouch.

as i said in a previous post, one of my goals this year is to embroider on more colorful fabrics.  so instead of my default choice of natural linen, i went with blue-violet.  it turned out to be a good choice, as the color set off the white blooms nicely.

I love the simplicity of design and the fabric color. Very nice!
