magnetic guide

finally got myself one of these: a magnetic guide.

once i tried it out, i don’t know how i lived without one for so long!  i purchased my sewing machine when i still lived in the u.s. so the needle plate guide lines are all in inches.  since i work by the metric system now, it’s been sort of inconvenient, working slightly off the lines and being careful to remain consistent– but no longer.  with the magnet in place and it creating a ‘wall’ to work against, sewing on the machine has become such a breeze.

it’s a must-try item, i think!

  1. My mum bought me one of these and its one of the most useful sewing things I own! I don’t know how I managed without it before!
